To our wonderful Rosa’s Deli family and community:
To protect our valued customers from payment fraud and remain in strict compliance with updated banking security regulations set by our merchant card processor, Rosa’s Deli will no longer process over-the-phone credit card sales or manually key in card numbers at the register, effective immediately.
We’ve accommodated phone payment processing in the past out of convenience for our regulars, but under strict credit card processing compliance, physical card verification is required at our counter terminals.
In-Store Pickups & Payments (Quick & Easy!)
When picking up your meals at the deli counter, payments are completed in person using:
- Contactless Tap-to-Pay: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay
- In-Person Cards: EMV Chip Cards or Standard Swipes
- Direct Alternatives: Cash or Rosa’s Deli Gift Cards
Catering & Phone Orders — Card Hold Policy
When placing catering orders over the phone, we will take a credit card number strictly to secure and hold your order.
How the Phone Catering Hold Works:
- Your card is NOT charged over the phone. It is kept on hold solely to confirm your kitchen prep schedule.
- Pay However You Wish at Pickup: When you come in to pick up your catering order, you can pay using cash, contactless tap, chip card, or gift card.
- No-Show Protection: The card on file will only ever be charged in the event of an uncollected no-show or abandoned order.
Out-of-State, Corporate & Remote Email Orders
For out-of-state families, corporate accounts, or bereavement/funeral catering where someone cannot physically pick up:
- Email Us: Send your details (Name, Billing Address, Mobile Phone) to [email protected].
- Pay Securely via Digital Invoice: We will text/email you a direct payment link so you can pay securely online.
Advance Notice Required for Digital Invoices: Please request digital email invoice links at least 3 days in advance so our administrative office can generate them prior to your event.
